Registration is now open for the Gwinnett County Open. Last year, this was Georgia’s biggest Disc Golf tournament. Let’s do it again!

Gwinnett Parks are hosting disc at dark at Alexander on August 12^th registration is $5 per person and you can register on line through www.gwinnettparks.com, click on the LIFE logo and it will take you to the registration screen.

Calling all disc golfers!!!!! Comcast South has contacted me(Greg) to see if they could do a piece on disc golf. Well of course you know I said yes. They will be coming to the park Saturday the 28th for Team Alexander Dubs. Please come out and let people know that disc golf is bigger then they think. The piece is called “Unknown sports in Atlanta”.

Great news! The Lenora Tag League can now be better described as the Gwinnett Tag League as we have been approved to use Alexander Park as well as Lenora!! It will be on Thursday nights starting the 2nd week in April and run for 8 weeks. All for only the low cost of $20. Part of your fee will benefit the GDGO same as last year. It will be a pure handicap league the first season. More info to follow.

Team Alexander Random Draw Doubles takes place every Saturday morning.  Partners are chosen at 9:50am and tee off as at  at 10:00.  For more info go to Team Alexander on DiscGolfScene.com

Have you played Lenora park recently?  If not you are in for a treat when you do.  The GDGO has used some of it’s funds to install new pin positions throughout the park!  Thanks to all those who put in work, with special thanks to Mike “Mikey” Curtis for doing the bulk of it by himself.

There are now alternate positions for holes 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16 and 17.
